Personal Story

As a child I grew up with a natural inclination to draw. Our home had empty walls and I wanted to dll it with colours. In Art I found Joy, inspiration and peace despite living in a country tormented by instability and war. By the age of 16 our home was getting transformed into a gallery with my reproduction paintings after Picasso, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Modigliani. Following my dream to become an Artist was not a straightforward journey. Along the road, I experienced living abroad with the bliss and challenges of marriage, motherhood and divorce. A new passion for personal growth got awaken through which I experienced psychotherapy and deep interest in coaching for myself and others.

Shirine’s educational experience embraced the English (Chelsea College of Arts and Design), the Dutch (The Royal Academy of Arts) and the American (LAU) Art & Design system. Her Art production includes paintings, videos and photographs. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Dallas, The Hague, Dublin, London, Beirut, Cairo and Doha as part of 'The Art of the Word' Sotheby’s exhibition in Dec 2010. Osseiran’s work is in many private collections and her Art is manifested through public commissions and educational projects. In 2016 Shirine set up Colourtrail to deliver Art workshops for children and adults.
In 2020, her passion for Art, colours and personal growth led to founding ColourEmpower, a platform aiming to enrich people's life through Art, colours and wisdom. Along founding "ColourEmpower- Be the Artist of your life " a growing community empowering themselves
through Art, beauty and wisdom (1.3k member today), Colourempower's mission is to Inspire and empower people through its pioneering courses and workshops.
